Exclusive: Jenna Presley is Bringin’ it Hardcore for the New Year!

The bombshell known as Jenna Presley is one of the hardest-working women in porn today. She’s been highly decorated and awarded for her efforts with an erotic prowess that is surely one of a kind. After a couple of hundred scorching sex scenes she has been recognized by AVN and was also named one of the Top 12 porn stars of 2010 by Maxim. A friend of The Howard Stern Show, Jenna is quickly transcending the ranks of mere porn star to hit a crossover audience. But that doesn’t mean she’s lost any of her fire: check out any number of her scenes and you’ll find a gorgeously stacked sexual acrobat that has deservingly earned her rite of passage. Quite simply: Jenna brings it to every scene, and it is this frenetic energy that has made her such a beloved fan-favorite. I was lucky enough to catch up with Jenna between scenes during her very busy schedule.

SL: So what’s up with you? What exciting things do you have in the works for 2012?

JP: I have a lot of new and exciting things going on in my world. I just shot some new stuff and I’ve been doing some mainstream stuff: I just shot for HBO. I’m nominated for two AVN Awards for best solo performance and best three-way. I’m going to shoot another scene for Brazzers in three days. Things have been really good for me. I’ve been shooting for Axel Braun a lot; I just shot for Vivid, too. I got to play Spiderwoman, which was AMAZING! The triple-X Spiderwoman series has a lot of AVN nominations and this is one of the sequels. 2012 is going to be awesome!

SL: You’ve been nominated for, and have won, a pretty good amount of awards throughout your career.

JP: Yeah, I’ve had a few. It’s really great to be recognized for your work. I’m very lucky.

SL: What’s a day in the life of Jenna Presley like?  Do you get to have fun or is it all business?

JP: What is fun? (Laughs) I don’t think I’ve ever heard that word! I’m pretty much all business. I work a lot. I’m only 24, so I figure that as long as I’m going to be in this industry I’m going to give it my all. Work, to me, is fun. I do have fun, but it’s “business-fun.” I don’t party, I don’t go crazy. I do go to some of the adult events, especially if I’m hosting a party. I grew up in San Diego; I had my fun at 15 and 16 in Mexico. I think I’ve worn it out.

SL: Were you wild and crazy as a teenager?

JP: I was a straight-A student and I grew up in a strict home. My mom always said “I give you an inch and you take a mile!” When I did get the opportunity to go out I went out.

SL: How did you get into the business?

JP: I was dancing while going to college in Santa Barbara and a couple of producers came in and said they thought I had the look for “Romance” movies.

SL: Romance movies? I’ve never heard them called that before…

JP: Neither have I (laughs). They gave me their card and said that if I was ever in L.A. to give them a call if I was interested. Sure enough, I was driving to L.A. the very next day and gave them a call. I shot a solo scene that day and the rest is history. And six years later I’m still here!

SL: I have to say: so far my favorite scene of yours is the one you shot for Brazzers’ Porn Star Punishment series…

JP: You liked that scene?

SL: I hate to admit it, but yeah…

JP: I was just ragging on that scene yesterday because I shot for Brazzers! I can’t believe I did that scene! I didn’t get the best compliments for it.

SL: Really? How come?

JP: Well, I had taken about nine months off from the industry to buy a condo in San Diego and just have some family time. I was not working out and my body wasn’t in tip-top shape and, I don’t know… I guess when I was younger I could take more of a beating than I can now! I still love to do hardcore scenes, but that one was a little rough and I wasn’t really up to par on that one.

SL: Did you know what you were getting into? I always wonder about those scenes, if they tell the girls beforehand how rough it will be.

JP: Oh, it was a complete shock to me! They said they were going to do a rough scene, but I didn’t realize just how rough it was! A lot of male performers in this industry, I hate to say this because it might ruin it for the fans, but they know how to act. They can make it look like they’re doing a very rough scene, but, really, it’s just gentle and sensual. But my guy, he… he went full-throttle. I don’t even wear extensions and I literally had my hair all over the bed. It was pretty rough.

SL: Brazzers is really running things these days

JP: They really are, they actually just bought out Playboy TV and they did all the promo for them. They picked their top 5 Brazzers girls: Lisa Ann, Asa Akira, Phoenix Marie, Rachel Roxx and me!

SL: It seems like porn stars have more opportunity to do mainstream stuff these days. Do you think there’s more of an acceptance of the adult industry and porn actors?

JP: It’s kind of like that elephant in the room that no one wants to acknowledge. It’s kind of hit and miss: there are some people who totally accept it, like rappers and rock stars. I know I was actually invited once to host a party with Kanye West and Young Jeezy and they ended up telling me that one of the mainstream artists didn’t want to host a party with porn stars. So, unfortunately, that party didn’t happen. It can go both ways. I’ve done Howard Stern three times now…

SL: I know, I’ve heard every single one! I’m a HUGE fan of the show, have been for almost 30 years now…

JP: Oh, he’s SO amazing! He’s such a creative genius. I don’t even have the words to describe it. He was born to do radio.

 

SL: What’s it like to do the show? And, I gotta’ ask: what’s he like off the air?

JP: He is just as genuine and nice and kind as he is when he’s on the air. Howard is such a nice person! And Robin, all of them really. The first time I was on the show I was out in Jamaica and they sent a film crew out there. The first time I was in the studio Robin came up and she gave me a big hug and she brought me a cupcake! They’re just really nice people; they’re exactly how they are on the air. I never fail to laugh when I’m on that show. There’s never a dull moment!
