Alia Janine: Dangerous Curves
November 23, 2010
Words & Interview by Steve DiLodovico | Smutlife
Alia Janine is the quintessential sex star: fun, frisky, flirty… all the good things you want in a dirty girl. A relative newcomer to the scene, she has made up for lost time with a body of work that is both genuine and filthy. This curvy kitten comes across with realism and energy and she is not afraid to get down and dirty. Once an aspiring criminal psychologist, Alia entered the realm of the sex industry in 2009 and has not looked back since.
SL: You’re fairly new at this, right?
AJ: Yes, I started in 2009. I shot a couple solo scenes for Score and they wanted me for a feature film; Mamazon and so I took the plunge then.
SL: Where are you from?
AJ: The mid-west. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI.
SL: How does a nice, mid-western girl go from Milwaukee to the depths of our computers doing such nasty things?
AJ: I was a dancer for six years when I was younger, in my early 20’s. When I was in college I had quit dancing for a little bit, but then I went back so I could pay for college. I wanted to feature dance. I knew I could get ahead if I did porn. I was kind of fed up with relationships and with men in general and I wanted to have a good time and not have to deal with all the drama. Porn seemed like a good way to get laid by hot, trained professionals! It’s funny: I ended up liking porn so much I never went back to dancing.
SL: You get into some pretty hardcore stuff in your scenes; some bondage stuff. You don’t seem like the shy, prissy type.
AJ: In a way I am shy. I’m a pretty big girl and I may seem intimidating, but I’m very submissive. I did MILF Humiliation for Porn Pros and I did Device Bondage for Kink. Device Bondage was like forced orgasm where they put you in all these cool contraptions. It was fun.
AJ: There are so many girls now. I got into porn to explore my own sexuality. One of my best friends is a dominatrix and she’s totally into some pretty crazy things. I wanted to try it; I don’t really do all the full-force bondage with the gag balls and cattle prods and stuff, but it is interesting to watch. I totally respect that side. I like to try new things. I like to get my hair pulled and to be spanked… you know, the normal kinky stuff. Well, maybe not ‘normal….’
SL: Were you this adventurous in your personal life before you started doing porn?
AJ: Oh God, I’ve always been very sexually promiscuous…
SL: Somehow I knew that was going to be your answer.
AJ: I lost my virginity when I was fifteen, but I didn’t really start having sex again until I was maybe 17. I’ve always had a thing for doing it in public places. I liked having sex in my dad’s Cadillac in the front seat while it was parked in the driveway and he was inside watching football. I would always do crazy things like that. When I was working at a restaurant and I was dating the hostess we would lock ourselves in the bathroom for a quickie all the time. I would do stuff like that. One of my boyfriends, we tested a Dodge Durango just so we could have sex in it.
AJ: Well, we lived in different towns and we were probably about two hours away from one another. I was flying to Mertyl Beach to dance for Bike Week, so we needed to meet up for a quickie before I left and we didn’t want to get a hotel room. We went in and went through this whole little spiel about how we wanted to test out the Durango and we pulled over and did it right in the car.
SL: That’s one of the best stories I’ve ever heard.
AJ: It was really fun and so crazy! We were sitting there and he was like ‘Oh my God, they totally know!’ We had to make sure we got rid of all the condom wrappers and everything. I did get busted fucking in a Vegas elevator one time.
AJ: Yeah. I can’t mention what hotel it was, because they let us go. Apparently the security guards that night were pretty cool. When the doors opened they gave us a standing ovation before they politely asked us to leave.
SL: What has porn done for you, what do you like about it?
AJ: Definitely the people. Some of the people that I’ve met have been really awesome. I’ve learned a lot about people. I mean, I learned a lot about people being a stripper, too. Being a stripper you learn a whole other side of men. I took a bunch of psychology classes, I went to school to be a cop and so criminal psychology was my big thing.
AJ: Exactly. I’ve helped some of my regular customers move out of their parents’ houses, deal with relationships… that kind of stuff. It’s cool.
SL: And that’s what we all love: a stripper who gives back to the community.
AJ: It’s all about giving back.
SL: What’s the craziest thing that’s happened to you or that you’ve witnessed since getting into the business?
AJ: Hmmmm. I don’t know. Maybe it was the way that I was raised, but very little shocks me. I guess one thing that was pretty unusual was Mallory Ray Murphy losing her virginity in a porn. I thought that was pretty out there. That was kind of different.
SL: Have you had any bad experiences, or has everything been mostly positive?
AJ: All the companies that I’ve worked for have been really cool and legit. I am friends with pretty much all the people I’ve performed with, which is cool. I haven’t had any really bad experiences. I don’t really pay attention to a lot of the drama that goes on. I kind of started a little Twitter fight with Amy Fisher, apparently…
SL: Really? And how did that happen?
AJ: Oh my God, it was very crazy. I honestly didn’t think she was even going to respond! I made a comment, and it was more for the people who watch her. I understand about the celebrity sex tape thing, but the whole porn thing was kind of a joke. I mean, she’s basically banking off all these people who want to watch her because she tried to kill somebody. She didn’t feel sorry for it. If she had felt sorry for it then cool. I understand you were young and everything and you make mistakes. But she doesn’t feel sorry for it, she never did. She’s basically been making money off this poor woman’s misery for 18 years. And she has children. Whatever.
SL: This kind of work needs to be left to the professionals. Not everybody can just jump into porn.
AJ: Yeah. And she’s had a little bit of work done, too. Actually a lot of work. She kind of looks like a tranny. I mean, I know she’s older and all, but she really didn’t get a very good facelift. I’m not really catty like that, but one of my tranny friends saw her one time and said ‘oh, that’s a tranny. I know a man when I see one, and that’s a man.’
SL: So what do you have coming up in the future, what can your fans expect to see from you?
AJ: I have a couple of films coming out soon: Totally Unprofessional 2, and Boobaholics. I don’t know what number they’re up to in Boobaholics; but it’s up there. I’m also in one of the POV Perverts. I’m also in Jonni Darkko’s Juggfuckers 3 and that just came out last month so you can catch me there.
